Summer of Peace 2012 events run from June 22 – September 21 (the International Day of Peace), it will include:
- A global celebration of what’s working in peacebuilding – featuring media campaigns, online actions, conferences, music concerts, film festivals and grassroots activities.
- A forum for highlighting the vast array of peacebuilding initiatives that are emerging across multiple sectors of society – health, education, business, science, spirituality, environment, music, military, politics and more!
- An opportunity to demonstrate that this universal desire for Peace is emerging in all countries, all ages, all races.
